22 22+ 22 22 88+ The guys mixed a lot of things, and I must say they mixed it well and tasty, and peatiness is in the subject! Beautiful theme!
It's interesting how diffuse a bottling can seem when such different components are blended. My impressions varied greatly from nose to palate, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I like dry, woody whiskies, hence 86 points.

Another successful blended malt from Compass Box. The smoky components are very prominent: Caol Ila (26.6%), smoky Tobermory/Ledaig (16.5%), and Ardbeg (7.1%). The non-smoky components are a Speyside malt "from near Aberlour" (26.6%) and two Compass Box blended malts: one made from Highland single malts (16.9%) and a "Magic Cask" (6.3%).

| Нос | 88 | Light smoke/peat mixed with orange zest and candle wax. There is a slight maritime note that is balanced quite well sweet citrus. It really is a spectacular and intriguing aroma; I feel it is very soothing and tea like. No ethanol sting to be found. |
| Вкус | 89 | A very spot on transition from the nose to the palate. The peat and maritime notes are at the forefront but that orange citrusy kick is magnified quite a bit in accompaniment. Rounded with an oily texture. Nicely balanced with calming turns through notes of Smoke, Sweet, oaky vanillin, and crystalized sugars. A good waxy mouth feel as well! |
| Финиш | 88 | Medium in length but very oily. A slightly oaky tannin sensation is present, however, after the full sweetness of the palate, is very welcome and adds a nice layer. Again, the last thing that i get is almost like a smoked old fashioned note with the orange popping out nicely. |

Blind sample courtesy of a friend. Fairly well blended, but to me not much of a sherry dram. A slight tinge of metallic note in the finish makes it feel younger. I feel it was more influenced by the recharred casks, but I haven't looked for the whole cask composition. As is, fairly drinkable blended malt.

It's said to use a large amount of Caol Ila's original spirit, making it a very pleasant and relaxing drink.

Ok, you can drink, but 124€? Well... everyone should know for themselves. I saved money again.
A good, but far from excellent, blended peated whisky. I find the price of 120 Euro a bit steep for what you are actually getting...

| Вкус | 88 | At first there is more fruit than smoke. Strawberry, cherry, orange. Then the campfire slowly builds up. Also accompanied by a nice spice from pepper and oak. But it is clearly accompanying, not overpowering. Alcohol has just the right intensity. Nice blend, nice harmony. |
| Финиш | 86 | As usual, the finish is the strongest phase of oak and spice. Nevertheless, the fruity note is clearly recognizable here too. Especially orange. Again a beautiful symbiosis, but the finish is unfortunately a bit short. A few percentage points of intensity are missing here. |
