Aroma – Sweet and pleasantly fruity. Warm notes of toffee combine with ripe, summer fruits – primarily raspberries and wild strawberries. In the background, light cinnamon and brown sugar add depth. Palate – Smooth, rich, with a well-defined sweetness. Caramel, dark sugar, and red fruit create a harmonious whole. As the flavor develops, a subtle, aged moisture also emerges, but everything is well-balanced and well-structured. Finish – Medium to long, with a pleasant warmth. The sweetness of cane sugar and cinnamon comes to the fore, with a delicate fruitiness lingering in the background. The finish is elegant and calm, with a hint of mature oak that nicely rounds things off.
Aroma: Dark raisins, figs, and plum compote mingle with walnuts, cocoa, and spicy orange. Beneath these are warm notes of oak, polished wood, nutmeg, and a delicate sherry sweetness—rich, deep, and complex. Taste: Crisp, warm, and rich. Sherry-soaked dried fruit, brown sugar, mocha, and caramelized nuts mingle with orange peel, ripe cherries, and spicy oak notes. The Oloroso sherry provides structure, depth, and delicate tannins, while the Glendronach style is enhanced by honey and malt. Finish: Long, spicy, and aromatically dense. Color - deep dark amber. Nose - soft sherry, picled oak, orange peel, hint of teak polish. Taste - oily, dense, old forrest, stewed figs, rancio - not at all overwhelming, just heavenly good. Long last finish with the same expression.
It’s a masterfully matured dram with impeccable balance, showcasing the quintessential old-school glendronach character we all crave.

This is utterly remarkable—the profound depth of a highly aged GlenDronach. The experience is mind-bendingly sublime, profoundly moving, and exceptionally delicious. The balance is impeccable. While high-age single casks often exhibit imbalances or dominant notes that overpower the profile, this whisky achieves extraordinary completeness and refinement. The only drawback is the price, which has regrettably escalated to prohibitive levels.

one of the more successful SC from glendrone from the last Batch, dense dark sweet for the mouth and nose, full of dried fruits and marzipan, arranged symmetrically which makes it a position worth drinking and enjoying, there are almond nuts and kidneys covered in good Belgian chocolate, sweetness is mixed with dryness at the highest level, stays on the tongue for a long time

Nose Incredibly rich, intense, complex, and pleasant. Intense milk chocolate, hazelnut cream, nougat, pralines, and chocolate-covered hazelnuts, along with similarly sweet red and dark fruits, strawberries and raspberries in honey, dates, figs, and sweet and juicy oranges. A touch of varnish, the characteristic dust of old whiskies, old furniture, tobacco, and leather. Perfectly composed, complex, and evolving beautifully over time. Taste: Exceptionally oily, intense, heavy, and complex. A wonderful balance between sweetness and dryness. Dark chocolate, nuts, perfectly balanced, spices, cinnamon, cardamom, bitter leather, dry tobacco, espresso, licorice, a touch of herbs. Later, dried dark fruit, jam, dates, blueberry jam, apricot kernels, buckwheat honey. Finish: Long, pleasant, sticky and warming in the throat. AROMAS - Fried plums, very sweet, jammy. Very ripe dates. In the glass, lots of coffee, cocoa, liquid chocolate, and hazelnut. Empty, it seems less sweet, but more toasted, like plum jam with a slight acidity. I'd also add a touch of flavored tobacco and dark, almost black cherries from the spirit. FLAVORS - a thick liquid, like a pharmacy syrup, only tastes much better. A conglomerate of plums, cherries, sweet cherries, and fatty raisins. The next sip - a liquid syrup, essence, and concentrate of dark fruits. There's a slight citrus aftertaste. beautifully spiced. Alcohol perfectly hidden. FINISH – as long as a runway, with notes of dried fruit, spices, and consistently sweet. Interestingly, despite what I consider a significant dose of concentrated sweetness, it's not heavy.
