Macallan Gold

This luxurious Speyside whisky boasts an inviting palate of warm oak, orange zest, toasted fruitcake and ginger biscuits with hints of mocha. After twelve years in a combination of European and American oak casks seasoned with sherry, it offers a great example of the rich and graceful style for which The Macallan is famous. You’ll get a sense of the American oak influence with notes of creamy vanilla that persist in the finish, while the European oak brings structure and definition. The striking presentation box and instantly recognisable bottle make this an excellent gift for any whisky lover, but it’s also just a great dram to enjoy with friends after a good meal.
