Glen Elgin 15-year-old DeDr Decadent Drams

Introducing, our Decadent Drams' 'Megafauna & Megaflora' range, a home to celebrate everything great and good (and in most cases extinct, thanks to humanity!) about the natural world. Anyway, this is a Glen Elgin 2011; it spent most of its life in a refill barrel, and we finished it in a 1st fill barrel to give it a wee flashy splash of sweetness and enrich it suitably, for your delectation and pleasure. It's 15 years old, and we bottled it with a several-degree reduction at 53%. It's really good and delivers a high pleasure factor. Please buy, thank you. Nose: Elegant green and yellow fruit combinations with biscuity sweetness, rich malty and barley sugar notes and then hints of shilling ale and cedar. Palate: Various sweet citrus fruit notes, greengage, apple pie with custard, lemon sorbet, flower honey on freshly baked brown bread and wee hints of fennel and aniseed. Finish: Medium length, on shortbread, flower nectars and sweet ales.
