How has such a humble and base 2nd fill barrel delivered this fusion of lush creaminess of texture, vibrant wealth of honey and a whole hive of beeswax? Nose: A wealth of green, yellow and slightly overripe exotic fruits, balanced by a big, textural impression of various honeys, a lot of classical waxiness, and greener, sharper notes which maintain freshness and vibrancy. Palate: Really creamy, waxy, with some drying, peppery notes, cedar and sandalwood qualities, dried herbs, eucalyptus, lemon rind and dried exotic fruit notes. Luscious, mouth-filling, and beautiful. Finish: Medium length, dominated by drier waxy notes, crystallised honey, warming hints of vanilla, dried banana chips and camphor.
