Нос88A sweet and very pleasant aroma, dirty, dusty, musty, with lots of dried fruit, figs, raisins, plums, caramel, chocolate, wet wood, and notes of fermenting grapes. A meadow full of flowers and sweet-and-sour citrus also emerge. Overall, a pleasant aroma, but nothing extraordinary.

Финиш87Quite long but full-bodied, caramel, coffee grounds, dark fruit, completely consistent with the taste, slightly spicy and warming, tingling on the tongue.

This is what I like. Lots of sweetness, black cherries, raisins, plum jam, cocoa, dark chocolate, and a touch of spice. A great choice with perfectly hidden alcohol and a hint of lemon balm.

Нос88Nose: A typical Px-style blend, which I like. In the foreground, lots of caramel, chocolate, nuts, prunes, raisins in brine, dark forest fruit jam, varnish, wood stain, cherry liqueur, jam, wet wood, spices, cinnamon. A nice sherry bomb, but nothing impressive in the aroma. 88.00
Вкус89Palate: Exceptionally smooth, light, perfectly hidden alcohol, milk chocolate, chocolate-covered raisins, figs, dates, honey, prunes, jam, dark sweet fruit preserves, ripe peaches, mango, a touch of spice, white pepper, nutmeg. 88.50
Финиш87Finish: Medium-long but full, intense, yet slightly scorching and warming, as is typical of Old Perth, as I've written many times before. Very consistent with the flavor. 87.50

The thing is, this whisky was meant to appeal to everyone. After all what's not to like about well-PX-aged blended malt? It's mature enough; it has a sufficiently intense aroma and concentrated sherry flavor, and it has a higher alcohol content, which carries the flavor. And it worked out. Unless you're looking for something special, because this whisky isn't. But, to be honest, if you're looking for something special, you wouldn't consider a blended malt... Nevertheless, value for money is exceptional high in this one.

Нос89Sweet, and pleasant. A bit dusty, but on the other hand full of died fruits, honeydew honey, dates, juicy ripe prunes, dark chocolate, a touch of tobacco and leather. Cherry in dark chocolate, old Brandy de Jerez, dusty shelves loaded with old books covered in leather...
Вкус88Sweet and spicy. Smooth, with well-hidden alcohol. Dark chocolate, prunes, cherry liquor, arabic dates, Sumatra's coffee, raisins in dark honey, candied ginger. All accompanied by nutmeg, white pepper and sweet chilli.
Финиш87Long, warming, full of candied fruits, molasses, prunes in chocolate, dates, leather and sprinkled with cinnamon, covered with sweet oak.

Incredible depth of favour. Dark and rich sherry. Fruity, woody, and this dram packs a punch. In comparison to most modern sherry, this is a great value - bang for buck bottle.
