В аромате единодушно хвалят насыщенную, но неискусственную фруктовость — спелые красные яблоки, груша, персик, мягкий цитрус, поверх них мёд с травами, цветочные ноты и мягкий солод; для своей цены аромат считают на удивление плотным и многослойным. Вкус описывают как более простой и монолитный: сливочная карамель и мёд на солодовой основе, умеренная пряность, заметный, но не подавляющий дуб без излишней сухости. Послевкусие среднее, с лёгкой землисто-моховой торфяной ноткой, возвращением яблока, сладкими специями (розовый перец, анис) и намёком на молочный шоколад с орехами. 82- A really good surprise. For 30 euros, you can forget the 40% and all the other stuff we know mass whiskies tend to go for. Characterful, intense, unique, fit for exploration while also being friendly and accessible, fit for relaxation. Funny that a cheap whisky that will likely just be drunk out of a tumbler has such a lovely nose.

Нос	83	Wow, what a densely fruited nose without being artificial, sucrose-y, sickly or bubblegum-y. Dense on ripe red apples, pears and peaches, soft citrus notes as well. Thick, almost greasy and jammy but not quite. The oak sometimes feels too tired and a tad cardboard-y, but most of the times provides a dusty bitterness much needed to balance out all this sweetness. There are some peculiar caramel notes that would make me guess this is a blend with high malt content. After some time, the fruits get more gummy-like without feeling engineered. Honey infused with fresh herbs, flowers on the violet side. The malt is present yet soft, sweet earthiness seems to round it off nicely. An amazing nose for the specs.
Вкус	81	Way simpler, not in a bad way. Maltier here but not much. The sweetness becomes more monolithic, centered around caramels and honeys, while the fruitiness loses some of its identity and becomes a sweeter and more sugary salad. On the other hand, the spices pick up steam and open up new doors. Nice casks for the price, the oak does not dominate but is clearly present, no over-dryness or astringency to be found, yet there are a lot of wood flavors and some maturity for just 10 years. A staple entry single malt.
Финиш	81	Medium to medium-short, bringing together both nose and palate, while adding a light mossy-earthy element that confirms that there is clearly some peat at work here. Sweet peat, malt, the wood gets drier but not distracting in any way because the fruits from the nose are back (apples). Sweeter spices like pink pepper, fragrant aniseed seeds, honeyed herbs. Maybe milk chocolate with greasy nuts at the very end. A budget delight, so glad I picked up a bottle of this.

I picked up the Loch Lomond 10-Year-Old out of curiosity—something about the promise of “apple, vanilla, and oak” just sounded like a perfect balance of freshness and richness. It turned out to be exactly that: easy to enjoy, with just enough depth to keep me coming back for another sip. This one surprised me with how approachable and layered it is. The mix of orchard fruit, creamy sweetness, and subtle oak spice really makes for an enjoyable pour—especially when I want something fresh, balanced, and not too peaty or overpowering. It’s definitely a great everyday Highland-style malt that feels both familiar and well put together. A quiet favorite in my collection.

Нос	82	Right from the first whiff, this dram felt like a walk through an orchard. There’s this clean, green apple note that immediately catches your attention, followed by soft pear and a bright burst of citrus zest. It’s incredibly fresh, almost zippy. As it opens up, some gentle cereal grain comes through, giving it a nice, earthy base that rounds out the fruitiness beautifully.

It’s soft and mouth-coating without being heavy. Then comes a hint of spice—subtle but noticeable—adding just enough complexity to keep things interesting. As it lingers, you can taste the influence of the oak, and there’s that light cereal character again, keeping it grounded and balanced.
Финиш	80	The finish is smooth and just long enough to be satisfying. It leaves behind a lingering honeyed sweetness that’s delicate and mellow. A touch of gentle spice warms up the tail end, and finally, a soft note of toasted oak closes it all off. It’s not overly bold, but it leaves a clean, well-rounded impression.

The stems separate quickly, leaving medium-sized drops. The density is clearly lacking. Nothing special, as usual, dominated by the basic caramel from Loch Lomond. The tannic flavor and aftertaste are likely due to the additional over-charred barrels. 21 20 20 20

A bright, fruity, rich aroma with nuances of honey and apple. The aroma is quite varied, with a rich range of nuances. The taste is soft yet vibrant and intense, also honeyed. It fades steeply into an oaky finish.
