Funny color - really looking more like a dark rosé - it's a rollercoaster, first rather reluctant on the nose, then the green amd hebracious attack on the palate and a nice fruity finish - overall rather strange

You don't just have to be a whisky lover, you also have to be a wine lover. Not only the crass pink color, but also the nose and palate are aimed at the lover of wine barrel finishes. Good but not a must in my opinion.

Нос85Freshly opened, it had a phenomenally fruity nose, which one could immediately consider with such an assessment. Unfortunately, under the influence of oxygen, this decreases somewhat and becomes more reserved. The very fruity, wine-heavy notes are somewhat weighed down by sour and cheesy components.
Вкус85In terms of taste, on the other hand, it is exactly the opposite. It becomes rounder and more balanced over time. Clear red grapes, but also spicy notes of wood and tannins. A slight sharpness enlivens the profile rather than being a nuisance.
Финиш83Medium-length finish with a clear spiciness and a light, tingling spiciness; towards the end dry and somewhat mineral.

The pinkest whisky I have ever encountered, quite vinous and tart, red grapes and red fruits, quite fresh but not really interesting

Funny thing, more of a Wine-sky. Of course, the 59-point rating here makes you shudder - let's see... Lo and behold: it wasn't that bad. It's just something different.

An interesting bottling from the Un-Chillfiltered Collection - or rather an interesting colored bottling. Because the whisky looks more like a rosé wine. He was finished in Bolgheri Hogsheads. Bolgheri is a noble growing region in Tuscany, more precisely the Maremma. The wines are also known as Supertuscans, of which there was already an Edradour bottling. glen-efze.de

On the nose, I had great expectations of the malt because I found it really tasty. In the taste, however, there is an unusual sharpness that bothers me. The wine finish is well done and tasty, but I think the base was a bit too spicy. 65€ is too much for that.

Good whisky cannot come from bad wine casks. Musty, sulphurous, dry and far too much wood.
