В аромате преобладают сладость и фруктовость — красное яблоко, виноград, ягоды и вишня, мёд, ваниль, молочный шоколад с пряным контрапунктом корицы, мускатного ореха и гвоздики; отмечают также лёгкую цветочность и пыльный дуб. Во вкусе тёмные спелые ягоды, смородина и яблоко, кремовая или маслянистая текстура, карамель и тоффи, переходящие в пряно-дубовую сухость; послевкусие чаще среднее, сушащее, пряно-дубовое, иногда с горчинкой танинов или спиртовым покалыванием. Хвалят за питкость, приятное развитие и удачное соотношение цены и качества, отдельные ценители находят неожиданную глубину и оригинальность тройной портовой выдержки. Критикуют однообразие и нехватку сложности, слабое или короткое послевкусие, а также недостаточное портовое влияние — трёх бочек, по мнению некоторых, оказалось мало. Резче всего звучит упрёк в дисбалансе, где горькие дубовые танины подавляют фрукты. Оценки согласованы и тесно сгруппированы в диапазоне 80–87; опытные ревьюеры держатся около 86, но самый авторитетный из них ставит лишь 81, отмечая нехватку изящества, предположительно из-за холодной фильтрации. Таким образом, расхождения касаются не профиля, который все описывают схоже, а того, насколько простота и умеренная глубина мешают итоговому впечатлению.

It flows deliciously from the glass. Sweet and fruity, plenty of fruit, especially light, deliciously sweet plums, pastry and cookie dough and vanilla. Smells very pleasant and delicious! In the mouth there is some pleasantly bitter woodiness, fruit and sweetness remain, but are a little bit more reserved and the pastries emerge. The finish is slightly vinous, vanilla, the sweetness fades quite quickly, the wood stays longer in the cheeks. I like. Tasty, somehow fresh part. Not really spectacular, but for a good 60 € you get a delicious whisky to sip away in a relaxed manner.

Нос	85	Quite sweet and fruity. A little honey, some grapes, ripe apples and berries. Red currants, vanilla and a little orange zest. Milk chocolate, oak spices, hints of ginger, white pepper and cinnamon.
Вкус	84	Initially fruity with berries and currants, apples and pears. Some sweetness of malt, powered sugar, milk chocolate, raisins and grapes. Not very complex but the flavors are in a good harmony.
Финиш	84	Short to middle length with some apples, grapes, oak spices and a little spicy.

Would be better if there was more port influence. 3 barrels were not enough. For some reason this distillery just leaves the best of itself in the still. What comes out of the cask is drinkable but forgettable.

This makes for super easy drinking, yet it’s engaging enough to savour it as it has a pleasant development, revealing some unexpected yet welcomed depth of flavours.

Нос	83	Rhubarb, vanilla, honey, quite a lot of fruit (berries, melon, a whiff of sweet grapes, some apples), something gentle and pleasantly soapy, transforming into a floral-greenhouse sweetness. Given time, some soft wood notes shine through as well. Pleasant and agreeable.
Вкус	85	It has significantly more ‘depth’ on the palate. A distinctive oaky character for starters. There’s a ‘rosy’ element going on, like rosewater, lots of berries with a lighter fruity-floral note as well. A dry, mouthcoating mouthfeel.
Финиш	83	Long and drying, oaky and gently spicy.

Smell: Sweet with a slight acidity, blossom honey, grapes, appears bright and light, candied apple, milk chocolate and dry wood. Taste: Less sweet than on the nose, orange peel, toffee, pickled cherries, white pepper and some nutmeg. Finish: Medium length, dry, the pickled cherries come through again and spicy oak. Conclusion: Very pleasant drinking whisky at a reasonable price.

Вкус	82	Red wine notes rather than port at first. Tastes great even if it's somewhat lacking finesse (due to chill filtering..?)

The typical strong port notes are combined here in a mix with spice aromas. Unfortunately, this is a malt that is very dependent on the day for me - and therefore not necessarily my favorite from this series. Nevertheless, it is easy to drink and at an acceptable price.

Нос	82	Fruity and sweet. Even slightly floral, I would say. There is a spicy counterpoint though (cinnamon?). Not unpleasant, but it takes some getting used to. After the first sip I also find a few grapes, almost a little bit like wine.
Вкус	78	Dark ripe berries, followed by spicy notes of cinnamon and cloves. A slight tingling on the tongue. Not necessarily typical port notes for me.
Финиш	79	The finish is again very fruity and sweet (almost creamy) and tingly and spicy. The port notes are now a little more noticeable. Light oak bitterness towards the end. Dryness coats the mouth.

A not very complex malt. It is an interesting mix of sweet and sour notes and a lot of spice, but unfortunately has a rather weak finish. With water the spiciness increases slightly.

Нос	84	First very sour-fresh berries (currant, blackberry), then sour-sweet apple with caramel sugar, a bit floral.
Вкус	84	Slightly creamy texture. At first, sweet and sour fruits with powdered sugar, then it becomes noticeably spicy (clove, white pepper, a little cinnamon). It reminds me of a baked apple with dark caramel, studded with cloves.
Финиш	80	Rather short, spicy-hot, bittersweet like espresso with sugar.

Вкус	82	Spicy – with strong, quite bitter oak. The fruity notes – wild berries marinated in whisky – remain in the background.

unusually rich maturation history where each of the 3 port casks chips in their best aroma’s and flavors. Truly tasty and original to say the least, one to sit down for and enjoy very consciously. And all that for a mere £65, if ever there was a no brainer …

Нос	88	Rich both sweet and gently sour cherries and berries, red apple, slightly dusty oak, subtle vanilla and caramel, cinnamon, wee bit of ginger, lightly floral honey and a small piece of drying dark chocolate. Wealthy nose, inviting, intriguing even and most definitely most original.
Вкус	84	Lots of dark fruits, not turning overly sweet but silky and slightly oily in the glass. Bit more oak char and it’s spice, once again subtle on vanilla and caramel, wee more cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. A very particular drought in the core, not overwhelming but blending in just nicely. Fine complexity and depth.
Финиш	86	Medium to long, lingering oak spice, a modest rise in vanilla mixed with nutmeg and an elegant sweet dark fruity drought.

In the Marquess Collection, Tullibardine bottles drinkable whiskies at a reasonable price. This 2022 edition was matured in all three usual port wine casks, i.e. white, tawny and ruby port. The whisky is about 14 years old. I assume that it is not colored and is chill-filtered. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the information on the photos of the bottle. glen-efze.de
