Distilled in 2000 and matured for 25 years in a single refill hogshead, this Glenburgie is a glorious honey-and-wax bomb. Bottled at natural cask strength, it’s a beautifully mature expression of this much-loved Speyside distillery. Nose: Vanilla custard with lemon jelly, honeycomb, beeswax, pollen and juicy green and stone fruit aromas. Palate: Lusciously honeyed, on waxes, soda bread, flower nectars, breakfast cereals and waxy shoe polish Finish: Long, lemony, honeyed - a hot toddy and lemon throat lozenge in one!
