В нос рецензенты чаще всего называют сладкие и ягодные ноты: ежевику/чернику, тёмный виноград и изюм, а также ваниль, карамель и медовость. Несколько отзывов отдельно отмечают цветочно-пряные элементы — розовую воду, гвоздику, корицу, а один из отзывов описывает нос как «орехово-сухофруктовый» (бананы, изюм, инжир, ирис). Ещё несколько отзывов прямо связывают профиль с выдержкой в бочке из лагрейна (Lagrein) и находят ноты марципана/миндаля, а другой отзыв говорит, что «влияние бочки доминирует» и виски «очень кремовый».
Во вкусе повторяются кремовость и пряность с ягодами: ежевика, вишня, слива, виноград, перец/специи, дуб. Финиш в большинстве заметок средний или длинный, часто сухой и пряный, с дубом. Отдельные формулировки расходятся: один из отзывов называет виски не «монстром сложности», но выделяет интенсивную ежевику; ещё один отзыв отмечает редкость такого бочкового хранения; другой отзыв называет это своим лучшим Edradour. Reminds me a bit of trail mix: dried bananas, some raisins, nuts, dried figs, butterscotch. With time and hand warmth, a very creamy nose, still butterscotch and shortbread.

This is for sure no complexity monster but this blackberry note which is mainly on the palate and on the finish I have never experienced that intense on a malt and truly makes it special. Absolutely recommended!

Charged sweet and sour nose. The alcohol is easily noticeable. Vanilla, fresh apricots, also apricot wine gum (slightly artificial), rose water, salt petals, honey, cloves, lime juice, summer blossoms, grapes, malt, oak spices.

Lagrein! An indigenous red wine from South Tyrol. In connection with single malt? I just had to try it and bought a bottle, as I hadn't had any bad experiences with the Edradour distillery. And it stayed that way.

A wonderful Christmas sweetness immediately surrounds the nose. Wow! There's a lot going on. Honey, vanilla, cinnamon, cloves and light pastries. Very sweet dark grapes, raisins. There could also be rose water. Really well made and exclusive, as it's limited.

I have never had such a note of almond marzipan in a single malt whisky. In addition to the above-mentioned ingredients on the nose, there are also delicate notes of wood. In the last third, the red wine also shows its berry aspects. Premiere: the first 90's! A fantastic whisky in winter.

The 48.2% alcohol is a very good carrier. The finish is quite long and spicy at the end. This ensemble of cloves, cinnamon and perhaps star anise is omnipresent. My best Edradour so far. Chapeau for this bottling.
